There is no cast icon available on the app. Hence, you will not be able to cast or screen mirror the content to the TV.
Can I use a browser to stream JioTV?
JioTV has a web app jiotv.com. It shows all the content that is available on the Jio TV app. But when you try to stream any content on the web app, it will show a QR code. If you scan the code, it will only open the content of your JioTV app. You will not be able to stream the content on a web browser.
Hence, using JioTV on Silk Browser or any other browser on your Firestick will not help you stream content on your TV.
Can I sideload JioTV as a third-party app on your Firestick?
The universal method is to sideload the app as an APK file using the Downloader app. We tried to install the app via the downloader, and it was installed successfully. However, while opening the app, the device throws an error: “Security Warning!!! Your device is not compatible with JioTV.”
We tried using the latest version, but the same error still repeated. Hence, we are not able to stream the content via the sideloaded app.
